Naira Life: 25-year-old postgrad struggles to turn skills into income
I’m a 25-year-old postgraduate student. Growing up, my family was comfortable until my dad fell ill in my first year of university. They sold cars and cut every extra. I’ve tried baking, event decorating, teaching, tailoring and HR assistance. My earnings ranged from ₦1k per gig to a one-time ₦80k month, yet I still end up broke. Now in a master’s program with just ₦20k left, I’m hunting for remote work and hope to finally launch my bead business. My biggest struggle is finishing what I start.
