AE-FUNAI Alumni Council Urges Digital Graduate Services in Visit to VC
The Alex Ekwueme Federal University Alumni Council, led by President Victor Ngwoke, paid a courtesy visit to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Daniel Nwachukwu to request digital reforms for graduate services. They highlighted delays in transcript processing that cost members job and admission opportunities, and appealed for an online clearance system to ease travel and financial burdens. Prof. Nwachukwu praised the alumni as the university’s true owners, pledged to include them on the Governing Council, and confirmed that digitalizing the Registry, Bursary, and clearance processes is already in the administration’s action plan. The visit concluded with the presentation of architectural drawings for a proposed Alumni Secretariat and a renewed commitment to collaboration for AE-FUNAI’s development.
