SamFrank Abarikwu’s Free Medical Outreach Boosts Community Health in Ihie Ndume
SamFrank Abarikwu wrapped up a two-day free medical outreach in Ihie Ndume, Umuahia North LGA, Abia State. The event ran from May 8 to 9 under the theme “Healing our Roots, Strengthening our Future”. Organised by the Enyioha Foundation, the initiative offered free eye tests and glasses, blood pressure checks, hypertension screening, general consultations and free drugs. Young and elderly community members were served without charge. Abarikwu said he launched the outreach to mark his birthday and ease the financial burden of healthcare. He emphasised that the programme was purely humanitarian and had no political motive. The foundation’s past efforts include sponsoring free JAMB registration for over 200 students, organising a unity football cup and donating books to the local high school library. Beneficiaries praised the outreach and urged others to support community wellbeing.
