So-Safe Arrests Two in Ado-Odo/Ota Grocery Shop Burglary

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps intercepted a tricycle loaded with stolen goods in Ado-Odo/Ota at the early hours of April 23, 2026. Operatives of the Iyesi Area Command led by ACC Samuel Yusuf arrested Afolayan Sodiq and Muhammad Adamu during a routine patrol. Corps Commander Dr. Soji Ganzallo explained that Sodiq’s tricycle was found carrying cartons of wine, noodles, and groundnut oil. Under interrogation, Sodiq implicated a third suspect, Mr. Lucky, who failed to show up during a sting operation, leading to Adamu’s arrest. The team recovered a yellow motorcycle along with the groceries. Both suspects and exhibits have been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force Onipanu Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
