Traditional Ruler Praises Governor Umo Eno as Victor Attah Airport Welcomes First International Flight
His Eminence Ntenyin Solomon Daniel Etuk, CFR, President General of the Akwa Ibom State Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers, has praised Governor Umo Eno for the state’s first international flight at Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo. He commended the governor’s efforts in upgrading airport infrastructure, adding basic facilities and sustaining Ibom Air. The newly completed Smart Terminal Building is now considered one of the most advanced in Nigeria. The traditional ruler also lauded past governors—Obong Victor Attah, Chief Godswill Akpabio and Mr. Udom Emmanuel—for their contributions to the airport’s development and the launch of state-owned Ibom Air. He said the Accra-Uyo international service fulfils a long-held dream and will boost tourism, attract visitors and grow business across Akwa Ibom State.
