Ojude Oba Festival Unveils 2026 Commemorative Logo to Elevate Global Profile
Organisers of the Ojude Oba Festival revealed a special medallion logo for the 2026 edition at a press conference in Awujale Palace, Ijebu-Ode. The initiative aims to strengthen the festival’s global identity and institutional prestige. Prof. Fassy Yusuf explained that the design captures Ijebu heritage through symbols of royalty, unity and cultural pride. He highlighted the equestrian riders as enduring emblems of courage, honour and the community’s warrior heritage. The commemorative medallion will complement the festival’s permanent logo and appear across branding platforms, including media campaigns, merchandise and digital channels. The organisers say this approach will boost consistency, protect sponsorship authenticity and enhance worldwide appeal. A committee member noted the festival’s role in promoting unity, tourism and cultural diplomacy in Ogun State. He praised state support under the current administration and pointed to local attractions that will draw visitors to the celebration.
