Tinubu Questions Free & Fair Election Laws: ‘If Only Three People Vote, I’ll Win’

Prince Adewole Adebayo, SDP’s 2023 presidential candidate, says President Tinubu dismissed calls for electoral reforms during a Ramadan iftar at the State House. Tinubu allegedly asked why he should make laws to guarantee free and fair elections when voters can simply stay home. He reportedly added that even if only three people voted, he would still win. Adebayo also claims the presidency controls INEC’s decisions, with letters to the commission triggering calls to Aso Rock. He sees this as a plan to keep the playing field uneven ahead of the 2027 polls.
