Fulham Set to Complete €30m Deal for Super Eagles Defender Nwaiwu
Trabzonspor centre-back Chibuike Nwaiwu is on the verge of joining Premier League side Fulham in a deal worth around €27–30 million. The two clubs are in advanced talks and expect the transfer to be finalised early next week. The 22-year-old Nigerian international impressed since moving to Turkey in January, contributing three goals and an assist in 16 league appearances and helping his side lift the Turkish Cup. Nwaiwu is poised to sign a four-year contract with the Cottagers, where he will aim to strengthen a defence looking for more solidity in the upcoming season.
