Many patients have suffered harm or even died due to this dangerous trend. Licensed staff should provide care while delegating minor duties to trainees. The Health Ministry must intervene. Hospitals should hire qualified personnel instead of overburdening interns. We have enough trained professionals to staff our facilities properly.
