Joan Cusack at 63: A Look at Her Award-Nominated Career and Iconic Roles

Joan Mary Cusack is an American actress celebrated for her quirky charm and comedic timing. She has earned two Academy Award nominations and won a Primetime Emmy in 2015. Her standout film roles include Working Girl, In & Out, School of Rock and Addams Family Values. As a voice artist, she brings Jessie to life in the Toy Story series and won an Annie Award for her work. Born in New York City on October 11, 1962, Cusack grew up in Illinois and graduated with a degree in English. She married attorney Richard Burke in 1996 and they have two sons. Beyond acting, she owns a gift shop in Chicago and continues to appear on screen and in voice projects.
