If the Living Knew What the Dead Know: An Urgent Call to Choose Christ

After death, eternity is no longer theory. Only through Jesus Christ can anyone be saved. The rich man in hell cried out in torment and begged someone to warn the living. Scripture shows every soul will stand before God. It contrasts two destinations: heaven in God’s presence and hell in separation. John 14:6 and Romans 10:9 declare Christ as the only way to the Father. This message is both warning and invitation. Grace is offered today. Choose life and trust Christ while there is still time.

What do you think it means that the rich man begged to warn the living after death?

But what makes you link his pleading to a warning for us here on earth?

It's interesting how this passage assumes everyone will literally face judgment, yet interpretations of such imagery vary widely across traditions.

I get the urgency, but presenting eternal torment as fact might drive some people away instead of inviting genuine conversation.

Maybe we could share personal stories of faith and transformation to illustrate hope rather than focusing solely on fear-based warnings.
