Ex-Oyo First Lady Calls for Increase in N300 Feeding Allowance for Visually Impaired Students

Ex-Oyo First Lady Calls for Increase in N300 Feeding Allowance for Visually Impaired Students

Former Oyo First Lady Oluwakemi Alao-Akala visited the Nigeria Training Centre for the Blind and Oyo State Special Basic School in Ogbomoso. She donated uniforms, soap, beads and other supplies to support the students. The school’s headmistress urged parents to enrol children with disabilities without delay. A special educator added that early training in braille, typing and vocational skills is vital for their development and independence.
