Five-Month Struggle With Head Pressure, Burning Sensations, and Weakness – Advice Needed

Good day. I’m a 29-year-old NYSC member struggling with severe head pressure and burning sensations for five months. I stayed at my mum’s damp, dusty house to save on rent. Every day my scalp and face feel like they’re being squeezed and burned. The pain moves from my head down to my legs, which is confusing and frightening. My body feels weak, and I’ve noticed a swelling at the back of my head and neck. I had a CT scan and full blood count—no tumor or damage, PCV at 39%, WBC 4,070, platelets normal. I’ve seen four doctors and neurologists, but the medications cause hypersensitivity and shaking. The burning pain, moving aches, weakness, and constant thirst are ruining my life. Has anyone experienced this or can offer advice?

Have you noticed specific times or activities when the head pressure and burning sensations intensify?

You're onto something—tracking when that head pressure and burn hit the hardest could shed some real light.

It's surprising those symptoms have persisted five months without any fever or visible scalp irritation.

I'm not convinced the damp, dusty house is the sole cause of prolonged nerve discomfort.

Consider consulting a neurologist for a thorough evaluation and meanwhile improve ventilation or use a dehumidifier in that dusty space.
