The leadership of the Nigerian Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging met with the Director-General of the National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment in Abuja to discuss a strategic partnership. They presented a framework focused on five priority areas. The plan aims to expand access to PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and radionuclide therapy across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. Discussions also covered collaborative research, capacity development, and innovation to support the Cancer-Free Nigeria 2030 vision. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to improving cancer prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes nationwide.
