Falconets Captain Igbokwe Vows to Make Nigeria Proud Against Malawi

Falconets skipper Joy Igbokwe has pledged to give Nigerians something to cheer about in Saturday’s first leg of the final qualifying round for the 2026 U-20 Women’s World Cup. Nigeria earned their spot by edging out Senegal, while Malawi knocked out Guinea-Bissau as they chase a maiden World Cup appearance. Speaking at a press conference, Igbokwe thanked God for guiding the team this far. She said the players have trained with full focus and will treat every moment of the tie with utmost seriousness.
