As part of ongoing police reforms, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, met with the Education Minister Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa and other stakeholders to establish a Nigeria Police Academy campus in Ogun State. The plan also includes upgrading and securing accreditation for 42 police colleges nationwide. The meeting covered infrastructure development in partnership with the Tertiary Education Trust Fund and resource verification with the National Universities Commission.
