Why Many Igbo Women Seem to Have Bigger Hips After Childbirth
I’ve noticed that in Igbo land, many women develop fuller hips and buttocks after giving birth. Looking at their old photos, you rarely see the same curves they have now. In my conversations and observations, around 80–90% of women with noticeably larger hips are mothers. While some naturally have curves, childbirth often seems to enhance their shape. Has anyone else observed this trend? What do you think causes these changes after having children?
