NAPPS Officials Seek Police Support for School Security in Osun
Executives of the Osun State chapter of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools paid a courtesy visit to the Osun Police Command on Friday to discuss safety measures for their schools. They were received by DCP Alalade Adio, who conveyed the commissioner’s gratitude and urged proprietors to stay security-conscious and maintain close ties with Divisional Police Officers and other agencies covering their premises. The DCP also urged schools to erect perimeter fencing and assured that all necessary measures are in place to protect lives and property, reminding attendees that spreading false information is a criminal offence. In response, NAPPS President Dr. Adewumi thanked the command for the warm reception and pledged to collaborate closely with the police to ensure the safety of students.
