Uti Nwachukwu: Hate and Intolerance Are Nigeria’s Biggest Challenge

Uti Nwachukwu: Hate and Intolerance Are Nigeria’s Biggest Challenge — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Actor Uti Nwachukwu believes the number one problem in Nigeria today is hate. He says intolerance, tribalism, envy, jealousy, derision, apathy, depravity and bigotry drain our collective energy and shape the systems we live under. In a recent post, he urged Nigerians to look inward and examine the state of our hearts. Uti argues that only by embracing kindness, empathy, tolerance and progress can we overcome our current struggles. He emphasises the importance of collective consciousness and communal ethos. Uti warns that repeating the same patterns while expecting different results is pure delusion, especially on an energetic and spiritual level.

We should start local empathy workshops that tackle jealousy, defuse envy, and promote understanding across different tribes and communities.
