Ex-MBGN Adaeze Yobo Opens Up on C-Section Embarrassment and Postpartum Depression
Adaeze Yobo, who became the youngest Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria winner as a teenager, says revisiting old photos brought back many memories. Married to former football star Joseph Yobo, she reflected on her early crown under the name Adaeze Igwe. On becoming a mother of three, she admits she was too embarrassed to tell people her first birth was by C-section and claimed it was natural. She later revealed all her deliveries were surgical. Adaeze also shared how she mistook her postpartum depression for mental illness or spiritual possession before recognizing it for what it was.
