How Tottenham and Marathon Running Fueled Mr Steeze’s Cancer Battle

Farooq Oreagba, popularly known as “Mr Steeze,” has revealed how exercise and his lifelong support for Tottenham Hotspur helped him during his cancer fight. After his diagnosis, he discovered the power of physical fitness. He ran his first 42km marathon in 2017 to raise money for cancer research and made running and golf central to his recovery. “Health is wealth,” he says. “If you’re fit, your chances to win any battle improve.” A devoted Spurs season-ticket holder for over two decades, Oreagba sees loyalty and resilience on the pitch as the same qualities that drove him through treatment. “Even if Spurs face relegation, I’ll ride or die with them,” he adds. His message is simple: stay active, stay healthy and never give up.
