Henry Onyekuru Parts Ways with Gençlerbirliği in €940,000 Settlement

Turkish Super Lig side Gençlerbirliği and Super Eagles winger Henry Onyekuru have mutually agreed to terminate his contract ahead of the new season. The settlement is worth €940,000, including €240,000 in outstanding wages and €700,000 in compensation. The amount will be paid over six months. Onyekuru joined the Red and Blacks on a free transfer last summer from Saudi club Al-Fayha. He made 17 league appearances and was set to earn €1.6 million for the upcoming campaign before the agreement was reached.
