Nollywood star Omoni Oboli honoured her late friend and colleague Alex Ekubo after his burial on June 18. She shared on Instagram that her film “The First Lady” will premiere on her YouTube channel at 5pm, with all ticket proceeds directed to Ekubo’s family. Alex Ekubo passed away on May 11 at age 40 after battling metastatic kidney cancer. His funeral events included a wake-keep in Arochukwu and a Service of Songs at Lekki’s Monarch Event Centre, attended by many industry colleagues.
