Salah to Bid Farewell to Liverpool After Nine Glorious Years

Salah to Bid Farewell to Liverpool After Nine Glorious Years

Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool at the end of the 2025/26 season, bringing down the curtain on a nine-year Anfield legacy. Since arriving from AS Roma in 2017, he has cemented his status as one of the club’s all-time greats. The Egyptian forward scored 255 goals in 435 appearances, making him Liverpool’s third-highest scorer ever. He played a key role in winning two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Club World Cup, domestic cups and four Golden Boot awards. Despite announcing his future departure early out of respect for the fans, Salah remains fully focused on Liverpool’s current campaign. He has pledged to help the team finish strongly and will be honoured later in the season as supporters pay tribute to his remarkable career.

Totally, that's a big blow. I reckon they'll spread the goals around and let young stars prove themselves.

It feels odd to label his years 'glorious' without mentioning any team trophies he missed or Liverpool's overall performance in that span.

Liverpool should start nurturing young forwards now to ensure a smoother transition when Salah finally departs in 2026.
