Tinubu Fires Back at Critics, Blames Past Regimes for Nigeria’s Power Crisis

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has defended his administration’s handling of the electricity sector, pointing fingers at previous governments for the ongoing power supply challenges. Speaking with Enugu State stakeholders at the State House, he argued that those who managed the privatization process failed to deliver promised improvements. He assured Nigerians that his government is implementing reforms to stabilize and boost power generation and distribution nationwide. Tinubu also challenged the credibility of some opposition leaders, noting their past roles in shaping the sector’s current problems. He urged citizens to focus on rebuilding infrastructure and national development rather than political distractions.
