Kwara Police Foil Kidnapping Plot, Seize AK-47s Hidden with Female Accomplice
The Kwara State Police Command says a kidnapping syndicate used a female accomplice to transport rifles and ammunition around Ilorin. Officers arrested two suspects, Adamu Ibrahim and Sani Musa, after credible intelligence led them to a stash at an agreed operational site. They recovered three AK-47 rifles, five magazines and 143 rounds of live ammunition. Under questioning, the suspects confessed and revealed a planned convergence point for coordinated attacks. They remain in custody and are helping police track down other members of the network.
