A Powerful Testimony

During a visit to my mother, a man came for prayer claiming a heavy spiritual affliction. Nothing was visible until he pulled insects from his hair and the sound of revving motorcycles filled my ears. Moved by his faith, he surrendered his life to Jesus. Two weeks later he returned radiant—completely delivered. Spiritual burdens can be oppressions, addictions, suppressions or demonic possessions. In Mark 1:23–27, Jesus rebuked an unclean spirit and instantly freed a tormented man. That same power is available to you today. If you feel weighed down by any form of spiritual burden, Jesus invites you: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden” (Matthew 11:28).
