Klopp Teases Coaching Return and Rejects Real Madrid Speculation
Legendary Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp insists he’s far from ready to hang up his boots. The 58-year-old hinted at a future dugout role while rubbishing rumours linking him to Real Madrid. Speaking in Munich on March 23 at Magenta TV’s World Cup pundit launch, Klopp said he’s “not completely and utterly finished” as a coach. He added that no plans are in place but left the door open for what comes next. He also laughed off reports of calls from Real Madrid or Germany’s national team. “Not once, not a single time,” he said, branding such stories as “nonsense.” After stepping down at Liverpool in May 2024, Klopp moved into an executive role as Red Bull’s global head of soccer. He now oversees strategy, coaching development, and scouting across the brand’s football network.
