Nollywood actress Lily Afegbai has voiced her disappointment after being left out of the Best Supporting Actress shortlist at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. She felt her portrayal of Idia in To Kill a Monkey deserved a nod. When organisers released the nominees, the category featured names such as Linda Ejiofor, Olamide Kidbaby, Bisola Aiyeola and Sola Sobowale. Lily took to her social media page to fume that they should “eat their award.” The 2024 AMVCA ceremony is set for May 9, and fans have been reacting to Lily’s bold response.
