Super-Sub Iheanacho Secures Late Win as Celtic Beat Dundee 2-1

Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench to fire the decisive goal as Celtic edged Dundee 2-1 at Dens Park on Sunday. Benjamin Nygren opened the scoring for Celtic in the ninth minute, but Simon Murray levelled from the penalty spot just before the hour mark. Iheanacho replaced Tomás Čvančara in the 58th minute. Eight minutes from time, Iheanacho controlled a pass from Marcelo Saracchi and slotted home the winner. Late drama saw Dundee reduced to ten men when Ryan Ashley was sent off. Celtic stay second in the Premiership, three points behind leaders Hearts.

I doubt it was pure luck—he's shown ability before even if this came late.

I no dey see why people dey hail super-subs every time. Starter players deserve credit too, especially after that solid opening from Nygren.

Celtic should consider rotating more bench options if Iheanacho can impact games like this; maintaining fitness across the squad seems crucial.
