Renard Urges Tunisia to Show Pride in Final World Cup 2026 Match Against Netherlands

Tunisia head coach Hervé Renard has called on his players to give their all in their final Group F match against the Netherlands at the ongoing World Cup 2026. The Carthage Eagles were eliminated after a 4-0 defeat to Japan, following an opening 5-1 loss to Sweden. They became the first African team to exit this tournament. Despite the early exit, Renard stressed the need for pride and determination to close their campaign on a positive note. “We were too soft defensively, but the players never stopped fighting,” Renard said. He also praised Japan’s movement, discipline and finishing, naming them among the tournament favourites.
