30-Day Affiliate Marketing Journey in Nigeria: My Honest Results

I decided to test affiliate marketing in Nigeria for 30 days with no prior audience. I wanted to see if it really works beyond the hype. In Week 1, I struggled with information overload. Traffic, conversion, offers—it all felt overwhelming. I almost gave up. In Week 2, I picked one strategy: promoting digital products on WhatsApp and Facebook. There were no results yet but at least I was taking action. Week 3 brought my first commission after I shifted from hard selling to storytelling and value. By Week 4, I was consistent and intentional. I learned that people trust real experiences more than sales pitches and that consistency beats perfection. By the end of 30 days, I had a few more commissions—proof that affiliate marketing can work if you treat it as a skill. My advice: start small, stay consistent, and focus on learning rather than just earning.
