Raymmy Shittabey Speaks on Long-Running Rift With Oga Bello

Veteran Yoruba actor Raymmy Shittabey has spoken about his long-running disagreement with filmmaker Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello. Shittabey said he still loves and respects Oga Bello as a father figure, despite their years of estrangement. He said the dispute began after Oga Bello felt he had been offended, although he maintains that he never deliberately wronged him. The actor said he has apologised repeatedly but has not been forgiven. He also claimed the rift affected his career and cost him opportunities in the Yoruba film industry. Recalling their earlier closeness, Shittabey described how Oga Bello welcomed and supported him during his struggling years. He said he would still honour any invitation from the veteran actor, but did not reveal the cause of their misunderstanding.
