The Strength of a Steadfast Purpose

“Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.” In the days of Western cattle ranches, a little donkey was harnessed to a wild horse and set loose. Samuel warned Israel against chasing empty pursuits, Isaiah declared “I will not be ashamed,” and Paul urged believers to remain unshaken and productive in God’s work. When we fix our eyes on our goal, no trial can hold us back.
