11 Absurd University Rules Targeting Female Students Across Nigeria

Across many Nigerian universities, discipline rules often blur into control over women’s bodies and self-expression. We spoke with female students who faced the most ridiculous regulations on their campuses. At Madonna University, girls were barred from campus after 6pm while boys roamed freely. Yes, I've come across reports of other campuses enforcing strict uniform policies and early lights-out rules for women. It's really frustrating.
