Profit Over Learning: How Private Schools Are Failing Nigeria’s Secondary Education
Nigeria’s secondary education is sinking under the weight of profit-driven private schools. Many institutions now treat students as ATMs and teachers as disposable labour. Urgent reform is needed: stricter licensing, stronger teacher protection, and real accountability for school owners. Without this, our graduates will hold certificates but lack the skills and character to lead.
