Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi has overcome a Lupus diagnosis and marked her birthday celebrating strength and survival. She shared new photos and videos, declaring herself a “rare gem” and proof of God’s power. In her gratitude post, she thanked supporters and addressed haters, insisting they cannot humble or shame her. After being told last year she had only five years to live, she sought treatment abroad. She opened up about battling anxiety, exhaustion and depression, and credits loved ones for helping her heal. Still working on her recovery, she recently spoke about lingering swelling in her hands and feet but remains determined to get back in shape. She also vowed to love her daughter for life, no matter what lies ahead.
