Apply Now: NDDC Foreign Master’s Scholarship for 2026/2027
The Federal Government, through the Niger Delta Development Commission, is now accepting applications for its Foreign Master’s Postgraduate Scholarship Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session. Applications open on March 23, 2026, and close on April 19, 2026. This fully funded scholarship aims to equip young Nigerians from the Niger Delta with advanced skills. Eligible candidates must be under 40 years old and hold a first-class or second-class upper degree. Required documents include a passport photograph, Local Government identification letter, postgraduate admission letter from a recognised overseas university, degree certificates, and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. Applicants will receive a registration number and should print the acknowledgment for future reference. The selection process begins with shortlisting based on WASSCE/NECO results, degree classification, and Local Government identification. Shortlisted candidates must sit a computer-based test in Rivers State and score at least 70% to advance. Final verification will be conducted by local authorities and the Community Development Committee. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. No deferments or changes in institution or course are allowed, and the Commission reserves final decision rights.
