Nollywood star Uzor Arukwe has opened up about his family’s reaction to his career choice. He admits his father has heard he acts but refuses to accept it. Speaking with Chude Jideonwo, Arukwe explained that his mother was slow to warm up to the idea because of her husband’s doubts. She later came around after seeing her son’s commitment. The 42-year-old actor also revealed he was unemployed and broke after being fired from his previous job. He says landing his breakthrough role came at a moment when he needed it most.
