NDA Dismisses Favouritism Allegations in 78 Regular Course Admissions
The Nigerian Defence Academy has rejected claims that prospective applicants were unfairly excluded from its 78 Regular Course due to portal closure. The Academy’s spokesman confirmed the application portal stayed open from November 28, 2025, until an initial April 30, 2026 deadline, later extended to May 15. Candidates who scored 180 and above in the UTME and listed NDA as their first choice were invited to register for screening. Emails were sent on May 19, 2026, with instructions to complete registration by May 24. The Academy said all procedures, timelines and requirements were widely publicised through its official channels and no candidate received preferential treatment. Prospective applicants were advised to follow only official NDA communication for updates and notices.
