Comoros Women Cruise Past Sudan with 10-0 Aggregate Triumph
Comoros booked a clash with Nigeria’s Super Falcons after a commanding performance in the first round of 2028 Olympic qualifying. They opened with a 7-0 win on June 3 and followed up with a 3-0 victory on June 8 to seal a 10-0 aggregate success. Nine different players scored in the first leg, underscoring Comoros’s attacking depth. In the second match, they struck early with three first-half goals before adding more after the break to wrap up the tie. Next up, the Coelacanths will face Africa’s most successful women’s team, Nigeria’s Super Falcons, in qualifiers scheduled for October 5–13, 2026. Nigeria recently beat Senegal 3-0 in their second friendly, following a 2-1 win in the opener.
