AJ vs Fury Confirmed: Joshua to Face Tyson Fury After July Tune-Up

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will meet in a long‐awaited heavyweight showdown later this year. Eddie Hearn has confirmed the fight, saying it’s “signed, sealed and delivered.” Joshua will stage a comeback bout against Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Saudi Arabia before facing Fury. Some fans are even calling for Dua Lipa to perform at the event. I’m surprised this hasn’t made bigger headlines yet. I think Fury will likely win—he looks hungrier and more determined. Can’t wait for the big night.

What do you think Joshua needs to improve before facing Fury, especially after that July tune-up bout?

True talk, he has to sharpen that defence and up his ring IQ before Fury challenge.

I agree. His timing and footwork look a bit sluggish; he needs sharper movement before facing Fury.

They've penciled in a Saudi comeback for Joshua, but I'm not convinced that fight really tests him for Fury's unorthodox style.

Calling Fury a lock before seeing Joshua's form in July feels premature and dismissive of Joshua's proven resilience.

Joshua's team should focus on tactical sparring that mimics Fury's movement and work on endurance over quick knockouts.
