Joshua explained that nailing kissing scenes could lead producers to cast him in the same type of parts repeatedly. He prefers to keep his roles varied and grow his craft without having to kiss every female co-star. By steering clear of those scenes, he hopes to maintain a diverse portfolio and challenge himself with different character types.
