Clinton Joshua on Avoiding Kissing Scenes to Dodge Typecasting

Clinton Joshua on Avoiding Kissing Scenes to Dodge Typecasting

Nollywood actor Clinton Joshua says he turns down roles that require on-screen kisses. He told TVC he’s careful about the image he builds in the industry and wants to avoid being pigeonholed. Joshua explained that nailing kissing scenes could lead producers to cast him in the same type of parts repeatedly. He prefers to keep his roles varied and grow his craft without having to kiss every female co-star. By steering clear of those scenes, he hopes to maintain a diverse portfolio and challenge himself with different character types.
