Grateful Emmanuella Ropo Reflects on Her Iyalaje of Egbaland Title
Emmanuella Ropo has been honoured as Seriki Iyalaje of Egbaland by HRH Oba Dr. Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo. In a heartfelt message, she thanked Almighty God and everyone who supported her journey. The ceremony on Saturday, 21 March 2026, brought together royal fathers, chiefs, dignitaries, family and friends. Emmanuella acknowledged every prayer, message and kind gesture that made her day a success. She especially appreciated those who stood by her, offering encouragement and guidance at every step. Chief (Mrs) Emmanuella Ropo Ajike Adewale Odebiiyi remains committed to her role as Iyalaje of Egbaland. She prayed for continued blessings and looked forward to celebrating greater achievements with her supporters. Two years ago, she was celebrated with an honorary business award at the Emperor Awards, earning the title Queen of Entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, her estranged husband, Fuji singer Kwam1, has launched a legal challenge to stake his claim on the vacant Awujale stool. His bid was rejected by the Fusengbuwa ruling house, prompting him to seek redress through the courts.
