‘Feels Like Defeat’: Cancelo Laments Portugal’s Draw with DR Congo

Portugal defender João Cancelo admitted he was deeply disappointed after his side settled for a 1-1 draw with DR Congo in their World Cup opener. He said the result “felt like a defeat” and blamed careless errors and rushed decisions in the final third for their failure to turn possession into clear scoring chances.
