Apply Now: Free Skills Training and MSME Support for Lagos Youth

The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, in partnership with the State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment and the United Nations Development Programme, has opened applications for the third phase of its Employability Support Project. This initiative offers Lagos residents aged 18 to 45 and MSME owners free practical training in digital skills, leather works, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and business capacity building. It aims to boost employability, entrepreneurship and small-business competitiveness across the state. Interested applicants need a valid LASRRA ID and, where applicable, an NYSC discharge certificate. Applications close on Friday, July 31, 2026, and must be submitted through the official application portal. The project builds on previous successes under the LSETF Act of 2016. It reflects the government’s commitment to reducing unemployment and supporting market-driven skills development for inclusive economic growth.
