1 / 2

Lagos, Nigeria – The Nigerian government and the European Union have launched a new skills mobility initiative to connect young STEM professionals with career opportunities in Germany and Ireland. Implemented by Seefar and co-funded through the EU’s Migration Partnership Facility, the programme will select 240 participants for training and placement in STEM roles across Europe. Successful applicants will receive soft skills workshops, cultural orientation, and career guidance to support their integration and success. Interested candidates can follow the programme’s official Instagram page for application details. Registrations are now open to eligible Nigerian professionals. According to the programme manager, this initiative offers talented Nigerian STEM experts valuable international experience while fostering knowledge transfer and boosting economic growth at home. A senior EU official added that the project will strengthen collaboration between Nigeria, Germany, and Ireland.
