CDCFIB Clarifies Dress Code for Medical Screening Starting June 22, 2026

CDCFIB Clarifies Dress Code for Medical Screening Starting June 22, 2026

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Agencies Recruitment Board (CDCFIB) has confirmed that no specific dress code applies to applicants attending the medical screening for the Nigerian Correctional Service, Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and NSCDC. Screening begins on June 22, 2026. Applicants should wear normal, decent attire and should not bring academic credentials, as no document verification will occur at this stage. Any directive requiring a particular uniform or academic documents did not originate from CDCFIB and should be ignored. Always follow official information released through the CDCFIB portal. We wish all applicants success in their medical screening.

With CDCFIB stating no specific dress code, how do you plan to choose appropriate attire for the medical screening?

Which aspects—comfort, professionalism, or climate—will guide your outfit choice for the screening?

It seems odd to remove dress guidelines entirely when other agencies always set clear attire rules for recruits.

I'm not convinced that a completely open dress policy won't create confusion or delays on the screening day.

Consider wearing comfortable, modest clothing in neutral tones. That way you stay professional without risking discomfort during the health checks.
