Rangers Coach Ilechukwu Urges Full Focus After 2-0 Win Over Bayelsa United

Rangers Coach Ilechukwu Urges Full Focus After 2-0 Win Over Bayelsa United

Rangers technical adviser Fidelis Ilechukwu has called on his players to stay fully focused as they chase a ninth NPFL title. The Flying Antelopes moved further clear at the top after a 2-0 victory over Bayelsa United at Samson Siasia Stadium. Chidiebere Nwobodo struck in the 31st minute before Godwin Obaje sealed the win five minutes from time. Obaje’s goal was his 12th of the season for the Coal City side. Ilechukwu praised the defence and goalkeeping but admitted the second half performance dipped. Rangers now sit on 62 points from 36 games as they prepare to host Bendel Insurance at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium this weekend.

Absolutely. If they keep that focus and stick to the coach's plan, they can remain genuine title contenders.

Sure, focus is key, but it's hard to maintain that kind of form all season long.

While a two-goal margin suggests control, Bayelsa United's recent struggles might have made this win less challenging than it appears.

Focus is vital, but the players have already shown remarkable consistency. Talking up the pressure this early feels a bit overstated.

Maintaining intensity in training sessions and reviewing match footage will help the team stay sharp on and off the pitch.
