By Ikenna Nwokedi On April 8, the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Alumni Association (NAUAA) held its quarterly National Executive Council meeting at the Alumni Complex in Awka. Delegates included branch chairmen from 11 Nigerian chapters and diaspora coordinators from China, the USA and Germany. They reviewed the Alumni building project timeline, planned the June 2026 Alumni Converge, discussed a constitution update and outlined preparations for the October convention. The session ended with a tour of the newly allocated temporary office in the old Faculty of Arts. NAUAA Global President Prof. Ikechukwu Umeh stressed the urgency of completing the new Alumni building. He reaffirmed the association’s commitment to promoting the university’s growth and global visibility and thanked everyone for attending during the Easter period.
